Loves Lament

Loves Lament
A Great Lament
O love where art thou
Somehow trapped between then and now
Lost from the fall and not yet found
Set on complete foundation
Yet lost within creation
Knowledge explosion is love's implosion
Love’s motion traded
For the ebb and flow of devotion
Laments Concern
The foundations destruction
Seeks loves instruction
Beyond the pale of cult and mail
Within the bounds without assail
Smiling conscience banished, yet
Not vanished by love confused
Ever seeking silence
In spite of violence
Love's Origin
Blackness, nothingness, meaningless,
Love’s contrast by measured performance
Emptied of vanity
Secured in purity
God in Christ
Passionate and right
Fulfilled Atoned Bound
Constrained while praise resound
Love's Design
O what design with perfect line
Pursues the heights beyond time
Structured confusion bringing
Ultimate conclusion
Within the walls whereby
Constraint falls
To calloused kneeling
Feeding postured pleading
Seeking the foundation yet
Lamenting all evasion
Love's Comfort
The bite, the sting, the curse
Points to passive search
The Ark, the Snake, the Cross
To mitigate the loss
Loves lament finally spent
Manipulation Dissimulation Dross
Loves Comfort
In Pain – The Cross
